Being happy. It sounds so simple, doesn’t it?

Like it’s the easiest thing in the world to do.

Then why does finding happiness feel so hard?

In a world today filled with so many daily tasks, being happy seems to keep falling to the bottom of the “To Do” list.

Here’s the thing, being happy isn’t about doing more — it is about being more.

Being more you…

Happiness is about wholeness, belonging and contentment.

It’s knowing who you really are and discovering your truest purpose so that you can stop wasting energy trying to be who you’re expected to be … and come into the you that you’re destined to be.

Achieving this type of happiness — true, deep happiness — takes courage.

It also takes a commitment to stop all the doing and to start listening to your heart and soul and being open to what its telling you.

Why is this so important?

Because a life without deep happiness is a life where you’re simply going through the motions.

And you are good — REALLY good at doing, at getting things done.

You’ve devoted years to your education, career and relationships, and you have reached levels of achievement that are to be admired, yet you still feel like something is missing.

You’re spending way too much time doing what think you’re supposed to be doing and not living vibrantly.

That leads to overwhelm, stress and a feeling of being disconnected.

This is not a fulfilling way to live.

Isn’t it time to stop wearing your smile like a mask and breaking into genuine smiles that are a true reflection of your happiness?

Isn’t it time to stop the never-ending quest for external validation and instead begin to validate yourself- just as you are

My time came when I was trying to juggle everything and was being pulled in every direction. I thought my productivity would make me feel like a rock star, but it only reduced me to someone who was off-center, feeling empty and running herself ragged trying to please everyone.

That busy schedule, the credentials, the certifications — none of them brought me fulfillment or a sense of self-worth. (Seriously. I have so many official credentials that the letters I can place after my name would fill an entire business card. None of them was making me truly happy.)

I was trying to be what I thought society wanted me to be and burying my actual desires.

It was an eye-opener!

I made the internal change that allowed me to start owning my inner wisdom. My power. My self-worth.

My deep happiness was born.

I also began to share this knowledge with others in small groups and the transformation has been magical.
